Come in the high season of July and August and youŭll find Sutivan vibrant with life with holidaymakers from all over Europe. Eat out at different restaurants each evening and sample the friendly bars and cafes of the village. Apartment Hilary is ideally located in Sutivan Village and is just a few minutes walk from the beach, and harbour. The village has 2 supermarkets, a bakers and an open air market - ideal for buying the freshest of food! Fresh fish can also be bought from the quayside. There is a post office and a tourist office and you can also use the gymnasium for a small fee. The crystal clear waters are ideal for swimming, diving, snorkelling, wind surfing or even sailing. All of the activities just mentioned are available to hire in Sutivan from the period of June - September. You can spend time on the beautiful pebble beaches and swim in the crystal clean water. Enjoy Sutivan's traditional Dalmatian architecture and explore other beautiful locations on the island. Its proximity to the ferry port at Supetar means you can easily take a day trip to another island or visit the city of Split on the mainland where you can wander through the 1700-year-old alleyways of the Diocleceans Palace!
The ferry crossing takes 45 mins at a cost of about €4 per person. There is a good bus service that goes to other fishing villages such as Milna, Splitska, Postira, etc. Supetar is the capital of the island and is 6 miles from Sutivan. From the coastal villages and inland fortress towns to the central mountain clad with olive groves, Brac is a stunningly beautiful island and a joy to explore with boat trips around the island and also to its neighboring island of Hvar!

For a quiet holiday, come in April-June or September/October. Tranquillity of this charming village is toxic and makes it a great place to have a relaxing beach holiday with the whole island to explore by scooter, boat or car. If walking is your thing, thereŭs plenty of lovely coastal and inland walks. If you hire a car, it is
a 30 min drive from the Airport to Split port where you board the ferry to Brac. A coach is also available immediately outside the arrival terminal of Split Airport with a journey length of just 30 mins to the port of Split at a small cost as little as €4 per person! Ryanair are now flying into Zadar Airport, which is 1 hour 20 minutes drive to Split. Public transport is also available outside the terminal.

Whether you are looking for a quiet relaxing break away from home, or an adventure packed holiday with lots of sunshine and great food - Sutivan is the ideal location. Apartment Hilary is in the village of Sutivan, so if you fancy eating in for a change - you can buy some fresh food from the market and cook it in the Apartment's modern kitchen or large built in barbecue and sit out on the spacious loggia which offers some excellent views over the village & harbour.
